OJOSEXO STUDIO, founded by LA-based mixed-media artist Mike Fernandez, blends his fashion background with visual art. After nearly a decade in New York as a wardrobe stylist, hairstylist, and groomer, Mike turned to photography, working in digital, polaroid, and 35mm formats. His work explores themes of homoeroticism and graphic typography and has evolved to include collages that juxtapose found imagery into striking narratives. A Fine Arts and Vidal Sassoon academy alum, Mike showcases his art through exhibitions and publications while continuing to work as a hair and makeup artist.
